That was fun! : )

   Ok, so I went to my first real concert last week!  I have to say…I LOVED it!  I mean really, really LOVED it!  We saw Trapped, Chevelle and Nickelback.  I absolutely adore Nickelback!!  That Chad Kroeger is so adorable!  It was dark and loud and explosive!  They set off fireworks and there were flames and did I mention loud?!  My sweet hubby bought me a way over priced tee shirt!  We took our teenager and his purple haired girlfriend!  It was really great!  My ears are still ringing!    : )

My mom called me the other night and listened to me whine about my rotten, stinky day for over 45 minutes! She lives a bazillion miles away and so taking me shopping and out for fast food feel betters are not really an option! I ended my whine session with my chief complaint being that our dvd player is on the fritz and it was going to be a real challenge working out to the tiny screen of my laptop! She listened very well and interjected appropriatley in all the right places and told me I was a tough kid and this would all be funny in a few years! She is always laughing at the stories I tell her called My Life and encouraging me to write them down and call it a book! Somehow I just don’t see the humor in my stories and don’t know how other people could either?!? Anyways, the next morning I checked my e mail to find one from her that simply said, “Bought you a dvd player, expect it to arrive in three to five days! Enjoy your workouts! Love, Mom” She is the greatest! Thanks Mom!! I love you!

    I hate waiting!  I am probably the world’s most impatient person!  I really hate waiting…I don’t do it well!  Never really have!  I ordered something three weeks ago from a company that I won’t mention because even muttering their name makes me grouchy!!   I paid to have it expressed shipped to me!  Express shipping means 5-7 days by their own definition.  Here I sit, almost three whole weeks later and nothing!  I finally contacted the company to inquire about my package’s where abouts and they told me it was out of stock when I ordered and that it would be here this week.   Today is Friday and no sign of it yet!  The thing that blows my mind is that if I were customer service for a company and I was presented with this situation, I would be falling all over myself to fix the problem and try to make amends with the customer!  This company offers a superior product and therefore seems to care very little about the customer service/product delivery portion of the transactions.  Ugh!  My  only choices at this point are to cancel my order (but then I do not get it!)  or to wait until they send it to me!  Guess I will be waiting!  I hate waiting!
